Since leaving uni one whole year ago I have been meandering around finding work and this is one of the things I found.
When I first moved to London I lived in a tiny flat with less natural light than I assume you'd find in some caves. It was a depressing ordeal but it was in Bethnal Green, just minutes walk from Brick Lane and on a wet and windy winters night I went to the opening of The Vintage Basement. Free beer was available and this gave me the drive I needed to tell the owner he definitely needed my unique services. Yes I was that brash, I blame 3 years training to be an advertiser. Sickening.
Well, it was worth it and I've been working there doing window displays, flyers and general merchendising since!
